Above is a delightful nude study by Eva Grant, one of the world’s foremost female figure photographers of the 1950sand ’60s. She was born in Istanbul, grew up in Greece, and became a student nurse in London. To supplement her meagre income, she did a bit of swimwear modelling, only to find out she had a real passion for being on the other side of the camera. I’m currently researching her career and have been in touch with her family, so expect several more posts about her in the next few weeks. Please note her images are still under copyright.
